This Multimedia Accelerator offers a full range of business
acceleration services, delivered through our regional hubs as well as
via the Internet, in cooperation with our international networks of professional
service partners and trade associations. Our multimedia Accelerator is
jointly conceived by ITSMA and the European partner EMF (European Multimedia
Forum).
5. Seminars Conducted
a. 1st INDO-European IT SME Forum on the
25th of March, 2004 in Bangalore:
We had invited delegation of European Associations to come to India, visit
SMEs, see their infrastructure, their processes, as well as to understand
the legal, technical and business environment that prevails in India.
This delegation included:
EMF – This has 5000 and odd companies as their members from BELGIUM
GAIA – This has 200 and more companies and associations as their members
from SPAIN
DISTRETTO – The first ever Association which was formed in ITALY
EMMAC: Which is a convention of about 20 Associations in Europe.
TESEO – The consulting company which closely works with the European
Commission.
Here EMMAC also conferred the European Multimedia Awards which was for the
first time in history that it was conferred to 3 Indian companies!
b. Seminar on “Doing
Business with Germany”
This seminar was a success with our members, as it provided them
with practical solutions of how to enter the German market. We proposed
to them the concept of forming Clusters among them, to reduce the initial
costs of entering this market, which was greatly accepted and appreciated!
Other than this, we also had very good presentations made by SIDBI, ESC
as well as the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.
6. Visits by delegations to and From India:
ITSMA also facilitates incoming trade delegations from various parts of
the World. We assist these delegations by fixing up meetings for them
with the appropriate members, who fit their requirement. This year, we
have already had delegations visiting us from Belgium, Spain, Italy and
Mexico.
Similarly, we also organise targeted delegations to target countries.
This October, we are planning a mission to Germany.
