"The best IST Project Website Award" competition is a part of the IST event 2006. It is open to all projects within the Information Society Technologies (IST) priority of the EU’s Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) for research and development. The IST Project must have a dedicated website for the project itself.

INCITE is an ambitious initiative responding to the need of giving Euro-Indian R&D relations a permanent co-operation basis. INCITE is funded by the European Commission under the IST (Information SocietyTechnologies) programme. The INCITE project allows IT companies in India to find the right partners in Europe.This is one of the 1st IST projects awarded, which has an Indian Consortium! (ITSMA, C-DAC, IIIT-B, IISc)
