ATMAN was an Indo-European project for developing relations and mutual knowledge with an aim to initiate joint business opportunities between European and Indian companies in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector. This project was coordinated by GAIA of Spain.
ATMAN was implemented through a consortium of institutions with extensive experience in the field of international relations and complete dedication to the service of SMEs of this strategic sector in various Indian and European states. This consortium also takes the name of ATMAN.
The Project had the following main objectives:
- To develop and implement new and more fluid communication channels among associations which represent a large number of Indian and European SMEs in the ICT sector

- To develop a programme for exchange of enterprise managers
- To create a common and permanent information infrastructure
- To develop new co-operation methodologies
- To co-organize common workshops on subjects of utmost interest to the ICT sector
ATMAN was a project funded within the EU-India Cross-Cultural Economic Programme, of the European Commission, through the D.G.I. and therefore enjoyed its co-financing and support. The project was conducted by the Indo-European consortium under a strict work and responsibilities plan.
Publication: Guide on “How to do Business in India for European SMEs”.
This project led us to host a commercial mission from Spain, for the organizations keen on exploring the Indian market.
