The main objective of Asia Qual was to set up a net of IT centres in Asia and Europe to support the implementation of a TQM approach (Total quality Management) in SMEs following the European Foundation for Quality Management Model (EFQM Model) of Business Excellence (http://www.efqm.org) or its national variations, through:

• The GOA-Workbench informatics tool.
• IT consulting and support (on-line).

This project was funded by the European Commission and the project saw great results.

Publications: Co-published 2 Comics, on EFQM model and on Corporate Social Responsibility.

Awards: ITSMA co-won 2 awards, for the project’s work & results; The Asian CSR Award and the Ansted Social Responsibility International Award 2004, along with our Spanish Partners GAIA.
